About Shallowfish.com Merchandise:
Most of the items on this site are mailed to our customers directly from the Artist’s themselves. We stand by the quality and craftsmanship of each item we offer. Our goal is to make you a happy customer. Please review the specifics of our shipping policy below.

Shipping and Packing Details:
Sold Artwork will be securely packed and shipped by the Artist(s) to the address specified by the buyer through reputable carriers. Shallowfish.com will not participate in the packing and shipping process, and in no event is Shallowfish.com liable for any loss or damages of any kind arising from the packing and/or shipping of the Artwork. The Artist will assume the risk for the Artwork until it is shipped to the buyer, thereafter the risk will be assumed by the buyer and the carrier. Transfer of ownership will in no case be completed until payment for the Artwork has been received in full. Buyers are responsible for the posted purchase price of the Artwork, any insurance, packing, freight and shipping fees associated with the purchase, and any applicable sales tax as outlined in our invoice. Buyers are also responsible for any customs fees, customs clearance fees, taxes and duties associated with international shipping. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to any buyer if we suspect a fraudulent or suspicious transaction.? Each order’s shipping price varies depending on quantity, weight and destination. Shipping estimates are from the time the Post Office receives your package. Most of our items are processed within 24-48 hours (except weekends and holidays), but check the product web page for details, since a number of the items we offer require days or even weeks to create and ship.

Loss or Damage:
In the event any shipped and insured Artwork is lost or damaged during shipping, the shipping carrier and its insurance agents assume responsibility and liability for the lost or damaged item. Under no circumstances will Shallowfish.com and/or the Artist be in any way held liable or responsible for the loss or damage to the shipped Artwork.

Back-ordered Items:
If an item is unexpectedly back ordered, we will contact you immediately to let you know your options.

Shallowfish™ Return & Damage Policy:
If you are not 100% satisfied with your merchandise when you receive it, please email Shallowfish within seven (7) days and we will refund your purchase price. You will be responsible for the return shipping. We will not reimburse the purchase price until the Artist receives the items(s) you are returning. Your return must be in original condition (not altered or undamaged in any way) and must be received by the shipping artist within 30 days of your original order. There will be a 15% restocking fee for all returned items. We will not accept returns or exchanges after the 30-day period. If one of our Artists mistakenly ships you the wrong item or the item is defective, they will reimburse you for the cost of shipping the item back to them and the cost of shipping you a replacement.

We must be notified of any damages or shortages within 48 hour receipt of product in order to obtain a return authorization. Custom orders may not be returned unless we have made an error or the item has been damaged in transit.

To return an item, follow these steps:

1. Before you do anything, send an email to shallowfish@.comcast.net with details about your order and stating the reason for the return,

2. A Customer Service representative will reply by email. A refund (minus shipping, handling and restocking fees) will be issued within two weeks of the item being returned in original condition.

Non-Authorized Returns:
Items that are shipped back to us without following the above policy will be refused!

Please Note: It is the customers responsibility to pay the return freight.
