GROUPED TOGETHER print
A staple of the bottom-fishing charterboat captains, groupers are among the hardest fighting -- and best tasting – fish in the ocean. This grouping makes for a wonderful mix of patterns and colors. The translucent, fluid quality of watercolor is the perfect medium for depicting the subject of these prints. From the bold hues employed to the individual scales on their flanks, these game fish fairly shimmer with life. Limited-edition giclee print on high-quality art paper. Signed and numbered by the artist. Measures 15 x 20”. Ships directly from the artist.
----------
Dan Sharley, artist and fisherman, was born and raised in Memphis, and now resides in beautiful middle Tennessee. Largely a self-taught artist, Dan is most comfortable working with watercolor paints. His work is inspired by his surroundings and his activities, and traditionally portrays the things he loves most – including wildlife and, in particular, fish. His paintings are presented in vivid color, filling the paper with a blend of washes, broad strokes and intricate detail.
