This limited edition giclée print features a solid white background to emphasize the colors and features of the game fish. The level of detail and anatomical accuracy – note the individual scales on most species – are balanced by watercolor inks that lend the subject a stylized, almost translucent quality. Giclée Printers Association (GPA) certified. Printed at 2880 dpi on museum quality paper using archival inks. Ready-to-frame print signed and numbered by the artist. Shrink-wrapped on foam-core and ships flat. Measures 17 x 24". Ships directly from the artist.

Nick Mayer is the son of an artist and a biologist – an advantageous background for a naturalist painter. From investigating the effects of the Exxon-Valdez oil spill on sockeye salmon to helping restore spawning habitats for the last wild strain of steelhead in the Columbia River to studying the nesting habits of sea turtles in Costa Rica, Nick maintains detailed sketchbooks to use as references for his watercolors. He lives in the Vermont Green Mountains with his family.
